Detailed agreement between Medeama and Al Nasr SC
In a historic move, Ghana Premier League champions, Medeama Sporting Club, have unveiled a groundbreaking collaboration with Al Nasr Sports Club, aimed at elevating the profile of the Ghanaian powerhouse on the global stage.
The newly forged “cooperation agreement” signifies Medeama’s pioneering endeavor to extend its brand beyond national borders and marks the first official association between a Ghanaian club and an Emirati counterpart in recent memory.
Announcing the milestone pact on Monday, March 4th, Medeama SC emphasized the comprehensive nature of the partnership, which encompasses technical and sports cooperation geared towards enhancing international visibility and fostering mutual growth opportunities.
“Medeama Sporting Club and Al Nasr Sports Club have signed a “cooperation agreement” as the Ghanaian champions seek to expand its brand internationally.
“The 2023-24 CAF Champions League campaigners become the first Ghanaian club in recent memory to officially establish relations with an Emirati club.
“The “cooperation agreement” with the Arab club includes technical and sports cooperation aimed at expanding the international scope and opening more global opportunities for mutual benefit,” Medeama SC announced on Monday, March 4.
Under the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Medeama president Moses Armah, alongside Al Nasr chairman Abdulla Bin Touq, formalized the agreement, with senior officials from both clubs acting as witnesses.
Medeama SC detailed that the agreement encompasses an exchange of best practices, technical knowledge sharing for senior and youth teams, capacity building for administrators, sponsorship prospects, and reciprocal visits by technical staff and football management experts, among other collaborative endeavors aimed at advancing the interests of both entities.
